Recent advances in the field of biomedical have been remarkably achieved last few years, especially fabrication nanomaterials that various applications. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are carbon-based materials with cylindrical shapes an average diameter less than 2 nanometre (nm) for single-walled CNTs (SWCNTs) and multi-walled (MWCNTs) diameters up to 100 nm. demonstrate outstanding excellent mechanical, electrical, conductivity, thermal properties, high surface area, biocompatibility. These remarkable properties led development CNTs-based field. For past decades, functionalization has actively researched order increase their biocompatibility application antibacterial materials, dentistry, drug delivery, biosensing. The enhances capabilities, features, by modifying chemistry improve will enable biomolecule loading on CNTs, thus can be used delivery targeted cells or immobilization support. In this review, we discuss related literatures applications such as antibacterial, dental cancer therapy biosensors from 2007 – 2022. We also review between SWCNTs MWCNTs, functionalized CNTs-reinforced nanocomposite applications, ability work nanocarriers deliver drugs directly cells.
